'FAIR ARTIST MOVEMENT CONTRACT'

FIXED TERM, NON-SUBJECT TO CHANGE

We 'Rebalance Music' take 25% of  Selected Artists Music Publishing Rights in Perpetuity.

All Artists Retain 75% of their Music Publishing Rights Throughout a 25 year License Term, subject our Conditions Below. The 75% returns to the Artist  75% in Perpetuity after the Term ends.

OUR CONDITIONS during 25 - year Exclusive Publishing Term

 

Fair recognition between collaborations of Artists & their contributions (example: producer / composer / lyricist / musician / publisher: will be established via a Musicians Union Approved - Song Share Agreement.

 

Rebalance Reserves the Exclusive right to Publish and Sell via our Trademarked Platform and the Non - Exclusive Right to Play & Broadcast. Rebalance Reserves the right to first refusal relating to remixing the original work for a 25 year License Term. Including the right to first refusal on alternative versions.

We operate a 25% Label / 75% Artist split on Track sales profit and Royalties (per product Track to Track on fully compleled original works). Direct pay to Artist Infrastructure. Confirmation of release date, per track signed, Marketing package and track Mastering provided.

HOW WE MANAGED YOUR ARTIST RIGHTS

Music Publishing Rights: 25% LABEL (in Perpetuity)           75% ARTIST  Retained (under 25 year License)

Music Sales on Releases: 25% LABEL (25 year term)             75% ARTIST (Throughout 25 year term) Performing Rights Royalties 25% LABEL (25 year term)                                            75% ARTIST (Throughout 25 year term)

We do not infringe on Artists Concert /Event Fees, Unless the event is our own Licensed Rebalance Booking).

We also do not infringe on an Artists Right to design and sell their own Merchandise, 

We offer a 25% LABEL / 75% ARTIST split on Merchandise sold from our own store, when it is encompassing of of our Trademarked Branding and Design.

We cannot accept music from artists that already have surrendered their Future Repertoire Rights to Publish and Write  & Perform Music to Library house or 3rd party Aggregators or Distributors.

We work on a track to track basis, meaning that we do not Infringe or Restrict an Artists Moral Right to Create Music (100% All Rights Reserved) outside the arrangement of a Specified Song/Track/Musical Piece.

 

Artists must be the 100% Copyright Holder of the Recording (Production) and the Sole Writer of the Musical Works (including Lyrics)  extending to other Individuals Copyright and joint or split Authorship must be Declared  prior to  Rebalance Signing.

Artists must have Ownership of all Intellectual Copyright relating to Marketing Tools that are not made by our design. if to be considered a suitable Marketing alternative,

In the Event that a Track is signed and not Published by Rebalance Records the Contract is Cancelled. All Rights Return to the Artists after 6months and 1 day time duration from Signature.

In the event that a track is 'dropped' or Removed from our Repertoire List. 100% of Artist Copyright Returns to the Artist after 6 months and 1 day Post Released Track Cancellation, due to unforeseen failure to meet Conditions Criteria Specified Heir in.

Submit your music for A&R Feedback (max 10 tracks per Quarter Annum send link and artist description. we are excited to hear your sound and Music approach.

We are looking for Artists/Musicians that are pre existing (Including new/recent applicants) Validated Members of

PPLUK Performer / Recording Rights-holder Account Owners. (for Artists/Writers).

 Rebalance Music perates and holds the following: PPL Publishing Account

PRS Publisher License and MCPS Publisher Licenses.
